Learn how to make a lovely piece of felt using merino wool tops, soapy water and elbow grease.

Andrea Mckey is a compulsive maker of bright, fun, decorative and functional pieces in glass, polymer clay, felt and mixed media. Art is Andrea’s soul food. It gives her the opportunity to create, relax, dream and explore. Andrea gets much joy making, giving away and selling her work and loves seeing pieces going to good homes. In 2009 Andrea was awarded a Churchill Fellowship for 2009/10 in order to participate in some advanced kiln fired glass technique workshops and bring that knowledge back to the Northern Territory to benefit the community. In 2016, Andrea relocated to Victoria after more than 30 years in the Northern Territory where she was a founding member of the Darwin Art Trail.

In this workshop, you will learn how to make a wet felt piece (about 30 x 40 cm) and get to take it home with you! All materials supplied.
