Buda is located at 42 Hunter Street in the Central Victorian township of Castlemaine. It is easily accessible, whether you’re coming from Melbourne, Bendigo or Daylesford.
On foot
Situated on the corner of Urquhart and Hunter Sts, Buda is a 15 -20 minute uphill walk from the Castlemaine Market Building (Visitor Information Centre) on Mostyn St, via Hargraves St.
Getting to Buda by train
V Line Bendigo trains stop at Castlemaine. Check the timetable here.
Buda is a 20 minute uphill walk from the Castlemaine train station, or a taxi service is available on PH 5447 4477.
Plenty to see and do!
Castlemaine has plenty more to offer its visitors – from the Castlemaine Art Gallery & Historical Museum, to the The Mill complex, and Victorian Goldfields Railway, you could easily spend a few days here and still not see it all!
