Access

*Caution – Watch Your Step* – Buda Historic Home and Garden is a heritage property and there are uneven surfaces, trip hazards and steep grades so please proceed with caution and take care when visiting this heritage site.

Please note for persons with wheelchairs that there are 2 steps in the house. They are not suitable for large powered chairs. Please bring a smaller more manoeuvrable chair if you would like to visit inside the house. The entire garden is accessible though it is steep in parts.

A wheelchair accessible toilet is available in our function room. Please ask staff.

Guided Tours on Weekends

Guided tours of the house and garden are available on Sundays between 12-3.30pm.

Nursery

The nursery is open 7 days for plant sales. The nursery only is free admission. Free admission does not apply to the rest of the garden or the House.

Please note: Buda Historic Home and Garden is over 150 years old and we may need to close it from time to time in extreme weather, for your safety and that of our volunteers. We’ll keep you updated on any closures on our Home page.
