Launch of the Living Heritage Grant Round 4

Launch of the Living Heritage Grant Round 4

by Maree Edwards MP

An absolute pleasure to be at Buda Historic Home & Garden today to open recent preservation works – made possible thanks to $120,000 in funding from the Andrews Labor Government’s Living Heritage Grants Program.
Buda House holds a special place for many people across our region – with its beautiful gardens, tranquil setting and unique glimpse into an 1850-1860s Victorian Central Goldfields home. These most recent works included plumbing and carpentry repairs, a new retaining wall, painting and more.
This history within these walls is amazing, and I’d encourage anyone across our region to visit and take a wander – you won’t be disappointed!
Congratulations to the whole team for their work in preserving this important historical venue for our region and state
