Nancye Canobie – Trees of the Secret Garden

Nancye Canobie will be creating large works on drafting film referencing the trees of the Buda Garden and exhibiting etchings in the Garden room. This installation is informed by a pervasive energy – (spirit) within nature. This spirit is expressed in her work in her relationship with the Australian bush and in particular to the sculptural dynamics of certain trees.

The dead tree is her signifier of the degradation of much of our natural environment.
