Andrea McKey – Secret Garden Vignettes

Andrea McKey is a maker of functional and decorative glassware, glass and polymer clay works, jewellery, mixed media mosaics, mixed media vignettes and handmade embroidered felt pieces that embrace the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement that Buda is renowned for. Andrea will create a series of ‘peek into’ mixed media ‘Secret Garden’ vignettes, discoverable through the front bay windows of the Historic home.  Running several of our Traditional Arts Fair workshops, Andrea keeps Buda connected to the community just as the Leviny women did in the troubled time post Spanish flu and war times. She believes in the joy of dreams, ideas and materials, the teaching, the learning, the making, the giving and receiving, perfect for our Covid anxious times.
