Create colourful earrings using copper and coloured pencils with Andrea McKey

Andrea Mckey is a compulsive maker of bright, fun, decorative and functional pieces in glass, polymer clay, felt and mixed media. Art is Andrea’s soul food. It gives her the opportunity to create, relax, dream and explore. Andrea gets much joy making, giving away and selling her work and loves seeing pieces going to good homes. In 2009 Andrea was awarded a Churchill Fellowship for 2009/10 in order to participate in some advanced kiln fired glass technique workshops and bring that knowledge back to the Northern Territory to benefit the community. In 2016, Andrea relocated to Victoria after more than 30 years in the Northern Territory where she was a founding member of the Darwin Art Trail.

Andrea will supply a variety of prepared copper shapes, coloured pencils, silver or surgical steel ear wires and jump rings.

You can make 2 pairs of earrings to take home and wear proudly.

The blank copper shapes are made in advance. After you book, you will be sent a link to choose the 2 shapes that you would like to work with if you would like one of the specific shapes shown, or you can just pick from a variety on the day.
