This fun collaborative one-day workshop for adults and children over 8, explores the process of making a Milk Carton (Tetra Pak) print.
What is Tetra Pak printing?… it’s a printmaking process where you can draw/scratch lines into the surface of a wax coated cardboard and then ink and selectively wipe areas of choice to get tonal effects. It lends itself to gestural and mark making processes combining beautifully with the drawn line.
You can bring along recycled milk cartons or juice boxes (Tetra Pak) to experiment with, but Clayton will supply the raw product also. This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
Staring at 10am, the morning includes complimentary morning tea. We will break for lunch, please bring your own or you can travel downtown. The workshop will continue after lunch and finish in the afternoon approximately 3pm with time left if you need to finish your project.
Clayton has twenty years’ experience in arts education, facilitating print workshops for several of Victoria’s leading regional galleries, and is the founder of POP-UP PRINTMAKING, a regionally based print initiative that provides everything you need to explore printmaking. More about Clayton>
