Life drawing with a difference!
BOOK NOW
Dames, Drinks and Drawing (Bridget Farmer), and Buda Historic Home and Garden in Castlemaine have joined forces to present this fun monthly event (until the colder months kick in).
Artists have access to normally restricted areas of the beautiful Buda house, where, within the walls and the garden, models in period costume will be found, ready for you to capture with pencil on paper. Artists will be invited to explore the house, and where a stool is free they may sit and sketch a model in situ.
The first two sessions, Sunday February 18 and March 24, run from 9.30am – 1pm with a delicious morning tea provided in the break.
Then, as part of the Australian National Trust Heritage Festival there will be an all day session from 9.30am – 3pm on Sunday April 21 with both a lovely morning tea and lunch provided.
Come to one, or choose all three and receive a discount.
BOOK NOWPlease note: This is a non-tutored drawing session. Stools will be provided but space is tight so please no easels inside the house. We suggest sketchbooks or small drawing boards no larger than A3. We also ask that you only bring dry, dust free drawing implements due to the fragile nature of the interiors you will be working in.
Friends of Buda tickets are for paid members only.
Please email admin@budacastlemaine.org if you have dietary restrictions.
