DESCRIPTION:Book Now\nPruning is easy and fun when you know how\, but understanding why\, when and how to prune is important. In this workshop\, you’ll skill up in all the basics so you can get started pruning right away\, including a practice on plants in the Buda garden! Learn how to improve plant health and maximise fruit and flower production as well as how to choose the right tools for the job and keep them in good condition. BYO secateurs for sharpening\, or just use ours. Note this is a hands on workshop which be conducted outside. It includes uneven paths and is not suitable for people with limited mobility.  Please come dressed for the weather. Afternoon tea included. \n     \nBuda’s own Garden Curator\, Carol Henderson is a horticulturist\, permaculture designer and teacher. Passionate about urban food production\, she finds all plants and gardens fascinating and regularly runs workshops for CERES\, schools and local councils. Working with children\, youth and adults from all walks of life\, Carol tailors each session to suit the needs and interests of each group.
