DESCRIPTION:     \nBOOK NOW\nFAMILY PORTRAIT: Linocut printmaking workshop. Clayton Tremlett brings his portable printing press to BUDA. You’ll learn the essential elements of linocut printmaking and portraiture\, (bring along a family portrait of choice)\, transform and transfer your image to a lino block\, then carve\, and print your portrait onto archival printmaking paper.\nStaring at 10am\, the morning includes complimentary morning tea. We will break for lunch\, please bring your own or you can travel downtown. The workshop will continue after lunch and finish in the afternoon approximately 3pm with time left if you need to finish your project. \nClayton Tremlett is a Castlemaine Printmaker/Painter whose works draw explicitly from Australian History. His practice stems from sustained periods of research. He is renowned for his linocut portraiture; which he utilises to produce wallpapers\, artist’s books\, collector cards and editioned prints. His work is included in the Australian National Gallery\, Bendigo\, Castlemaine\, Geelong\, Hamilton\, Mornington Peninsula\, Wangaratta\, Warrnambool and State Library of Victoria collections. \nBOOK NOW

Discover everything from embroidery\, bookbinding and weaving to saffron\, metalwork\, felting\, jewellery\, painting and more—each stall alive with skill\, story and hands-on demonstrations. \nRound off the day with handcrafted ice cream\, barista-made coffee\, a gourmet BBQ\, Devonshire teas and delicious light lunches—there’s something to tempt every appetite. \nAcross three lively stages\, enjoy free demonstrations\, roving musicians and a special guest artist in residence\, while stallholders share their craft up close.
